Perhaps Captain Sparrow's ego will not accept the prospect of competition in the piracy stakes. For a sea pirate, he is most unlike any we encountered in Balfonheim Port. He has a head of hair, for one.

Because of his ego, huh? ...Sounds like someone I know. But hey, you're right! It's pretty funny - I'd never really thought about sea pirates until we saw them.

Already, I get the impression of a 'rivalry' brewing. That is understandable, given our homeland's lack of ocean. If you had thought about them, might you have considered the seas, as opposed to the skies?

Well, yes. I think the catalyst was Captain Sparrow referring to the Strahl as a plaything. As expected, Balthier did not take that well...
