I'm really looking forward to this filmIt's an under-the-radar book I read almost a decade ago, I think. And struck a chord in the humanity it portrayed in a simple writing style that would fit it under the childrens section. Finally saw Iron Man and I have to agree with kelson that it is indeed the most satisfying comic book adapted movie I've seen in my life. It's not the most dramatic, not the most action-packed, but it's got the best mix of everything without any melodrama. Keeping it delightfully Hollywood without any farce or over the top cheesiness. Put them through the end of it of course. And that's what Blue Sky Studios did with hilarious and touching results in their sequel Ice Age: Meltdown, but this time with even more skill and flair (yes, cereal lovers be happy).
