A long night
Work was interesting, I just got in and i'm so tired. The event was a wedding reception/baptismal celebration. there were 300 people, mostly hispanic. It was loud and dirty. haha at one point Judi and I looked in on the event and drunk parents were throwing this guy, prolly mid-teens, in the air and pouring beer over him. It was definitely a first for my eyes. Red cups were everywhere, I thought of chico. The bartender was serving to underage people so we had to call the head boss Sabrina and we almost has to end the night, which would have been nice.
The night was slow at times, but Judi and i are definitely a good pair. We watched TV, did crosswords, went on many walks around the bldg to escape the noise, made fun of the cops that were there and told ourselves that the water bottle was really full of gin, went through the desk, played with matches, etc. It was a blast. She's hilarious, she told me she got pulled over by a cop while riding her bike home after work cuz she didn't have a back light on her bike. LoL i don't think I'm going to get to work with her again before I go back to school, which is sad. I think tonight was our true bonding night. but cleaning sucked, they were the messiest i've dealt with. We walked into the bathroom chatting, then just stopped dead and scanned the floors and walls in silence, sighed and leaned against the door wondering where to start. it sucked!
Every time i said something was cool she told me to take it, haha she's a bad influence, i told her that and she laughed. And she started calling me "darling" which i think is funny, i feel like she's taken me under her wing or something. We have good times... Anyway, I took a license plate that had been found in our parking lot last month that's been siting in the office. She showed me where unmarked city signs and road stuff is, so tomorrow im going to take one of those sign things that are orange and white and are metal that usually have the round light on top that go on sidewalks and stuff. i wish i knew the name of it, that would be easier, but yea i'm taking one of two of those. I gotta get to bed, it's 2:40 am and i have to be at work in less than 11 hours... i'm out.
