After work I drove to Walnut Creek to stay the night with Maggie and Kitty. Mental note: never leave before 6:30 or traffic will blow. It was funny, there were these Mexican's in the next lane over and we kept passing e/o in traffic and they kept asking for my number, but i lost them after i got over the Richmond bridge. It was fun tho and totally cool cuz they weren't being gross, just messing around. I got there around 6:45 and BK, Laura and Danielle showed up a few minutes later with a few kittens that BK's family needs to sell. THe 5 of us went to Ha's for Chinese, and damn was it good. We all went to BK's afterward and Danielle left. Then the adventure began...
Some history: BK's house is full of stuff, literally full. You can't see the floors, counters, stairs.. It's all for his mom's work, she get clothes and items and re-sells them for more money. Sounds like a great job. Well anyway, Maggie's been wanting this cherry Kate Spade bag so we started searching the jungle for it. We started in the garages, made our we throughout both up- and downstairs. It was great, we all started piles of our own to ask his mom if we could take it. I have bags of clothes, a huge cork board and other random stuff now, it was like shopping, which was perfect timing cuz i needed stuff so bad.
Laura jinxed us by saying "this would be the worst place to be stuck in during a power outage." about 30 minutes later, when we were upstairs in the farthest room from the stairs holding the cats, the power goes out. There were all these creepy collectible dolls EVERYWHERE, i'd say close to 100, and it was scary cuz they all glowed. We had to make our way back to Jackie's room to leave the cats then down the stairs without dying. It sure was fun tho, i couldn't think of a better way to spend last night. We went outside holding candles, and twice people told us it looked like we were having a service LoL.
Kitty went to a singles dance and met a guy she calls "Mr. Bill" and he sounds awesome. She was so giddy when she came home from her night and told us all about him.. LoL he's 39, she's 51 but there is no problem. This morning we ate outside which was awesome, we had peaches, blueberries and whole wheat pancakes. it was muy delicioso. Anyway, I have to get ready for work tonight in SR, 4:30-2, and I still have to go to Walgreens to get a fan. Hasta pasta
