Hollywood's finest and a couple of Helm's Deep reenactors.

So, this is awkward. Wait, I have a tumblr now, because what an excellent idea to just reblog pictures all day! I am always looking for the path of least resistance.

Anyway, I'm enjoying my leftover week of summer vacation, and I am spending it obsessing over Thor, or rather Loki, and watching gifs of Tom Hiddleston slowdancing with Rachel Weisz.

Loki! Being me, I failed to catch Thor in theatres even though I vaguely remember thinking a comic book movie directed by Kenneth Branagh might just be something to behold (spoiler: it is). Much, much later, after annoyedly scrolling past posts on my feed exhorting the glories of Loki and something called a hiddles for months, I was bored one day and mumblemumbled a copy of the film. Entirely predictable results.

In other news.

...

...wishing for the unbearable lightness of tumblr here. Whatever, pictures from today under the cut. The grand adventure of Hemsy and Hiddles, and some other people in less impressive threads. Spoilers for the delicate Avengers fans.

The gang's all here! Check it out: From the left, Thor, (random crew person), Loki, Erik Selvig, Hawkeye, (random cr--I mean the director of the picture), Captain America, HULK, Black Widow, Iron Man!

Or, you know, Chris Hemsworth, (rcp), Tim MiddlestonTom Hiddleston, Joss Whedon, Stellan Skarsgård, Jeremy Renner, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson.

They're shooting in New York right now, and all the stalkers, paparazzi and rubberneckers have gathered. Hiddles is hugging babies and carrying crew members around left and right. It is a joyful gathering of bromantic awesome. I just want to enjoy the view, watch Th'Oreal fling his lovely locks, ponder what Mongol conqueror Loki stole his leather frock off, try to figure out which gangsta handshake Renner is teaching his buddy there...

These are just to illustrate the muppety fun that distracted me from the agonising wait for Adam Lambert's new album:

An Englishman Abroad

"So Clark Gregg told me this story about you discovering Chili's..."
"'--a fantastic restaurant called Chili's!' And the looks I got from everyone... were priceless."
