Ten People I Know...

Aug 28, 2007 00:51

I recently caught the creative train and decided to start writing again. (a lot of it had to do with talking to brandon while we were down at the river last weekend. He told me my true calling was being a writer and that i should focus all my efforts on that...) anyway, i did some googling and found some creative writing exercises just to try to get myself back into the groove. i now present "10 people i know, described in one sentence each". i have removed the last names, b/c this is the internet, and i'm sure this will somehow get back to somebody i've written shit about, lol. also, i did another video (i like doing those, even tho my editing skilz suuuuck! click here to watch it!)

1. Kitho P. is a caring, committed partner who is creative and inspires me. (that one's not too hard to figure out who it is, lol)

2. Drew H. is a kind person who is not afraid to overcome his own introversion and try new things.

3. Helen C. is a tough yet loving woman who has endured more pain in her life than is fair.

4. Jonathan Y. is an unintentional despot whose own incompetence causes all around him to despair.

5. Lacey R. is an adventurous free spirit whose obvious zest for new experiences brightens the lives of nearly everyone who knows her.

6. Patrick McH. is a duplicitous hypocrite whose ambition far out paces his ability and intelligence.

7. Sheila R. is an open-hearted person whose kindness and charity is almost always rewarded with indifference, ignorance, and more work!

8. Brandon C. is a thoughtful, loyal friend whose often careless treatment of others obscures his better nature.

9. Jason C. is a deep thinker whose perceived shallow and flashy exterior masks a true tender empathy underneath.

10. Cathryn B. is a profoundly empathetic person whose total regard for others will most likely be her downfall.

there u have it. this is a fun little exercise, if only for the fact that i'd never really analyzed my friends before (especially so concisely!) what do you really think about your friends? try it!
