I don't know why I want
this so badly, but I do. I've been online shopping all afternoon, not buying anything because i'm terrified of spending money, but oh man, I want it. I'm bored of my backpack, i've had it since junior high, and while i love it...it's time to retire it. Early birthday present anyone? (Holy moly, 6 weeks and i'll be 19...)
I went to the gym this afternoon (!!!) and fell off a treadmill.
No, seriously.
I was watching the girl a couple machines down to figure out the "i'm done" procedures (you're supposed to grab a towel and wipe town the machine) and i craned my head too far and slipped. The guys behind me laughed a lot. *siiiiiiigh* I told you, the rec cen is intimidating.
Then I couldn't figure out how to get out, because every exit had "emergency exit only" printed on the door. Finally i just hung out near the front desk until someone else left, and followed them. Turns out the turnstyles turn two ways (!!!) and the in was actually an out too. Go figure.
Mommy sent me a care package. <3 to my mommy. Now I just have to save a few of the cookies until next weekend, so my boy can have some too, because he loves them like so. We're going to go to the DC zoo on presidents weekend, because admittance is free, you only pay for parking, but seeing as how we're metro-ing it, that's not an issue. Hooray! Picnic lunch of peanut butter & jelly? Yes please, por favor.
I'm in a really good mood and I don't know why. I know if i analyze it, it will go away, so i'm just going to keep munching on cookies and pretending life is peachy. Maybe this is that legally blonde quote:
Exercise produces endorphines. Endorphines make you happy. Happy people just don't go and shoot their husbands.
RUF tonight, hooray! (PS I love Miss Sandy because she offered to pick me up from 'napolis, so she rocks my world x100000000)
