On Being a Girl Hella
Dear Journal,
Today I went to a rush event for sigma delta sigma. It is the kind of thing I never thought I would ever do in my entire life, and that is part of the reason I am so glad i went. That is terrible reasoning, though, because if inexperience were grounds for satisfaction with all things, I should be doing drugs and having lots of sex with strangers and acquiring strange diseases and such. I was in a social mood, so it was easier, but the girls were really nice and there was a great sense of community. Mieko warned me that they all want to pretend to be my friend now and it is halfway a lie, but I am going to enjoy the lie and ride it out. College is for expiramenting, and this is a hella cool one. WIthout beakers.
