My computer has been out of commission for the past two weeks, and I'm happy to say that it is offically BACK and WORKING. I haven't been on livejournal since my computer died, so I'm trying to mkae up for it by updating now.
Well, let's see...I'm kind of swamped right now. Work has taken a huge chunk out of my week, and my classes have a decent amount of reading. My weekends are basically completely booked, as well. I work 8 hours on Saturday, and I spend all day Sunday with Sam. I'm trying to remain involved in my 2 clubs, but I can't make the meetings for one of them, which is frustrating. Even though I'm busy, I'm pretty happy all the time (especially now since I've got my computer back!)
I'm in a total motown mood--I just bought a bunch of motown songs off iTunes. Classic!
So, Tuesday was my birthday, but we went out on Monday night to celebrate. My roommate and I have the same birthday, so it was a two-in-one celebration. We went to BJ's and got a huge Pizookie (which is a pizza-esque cookie, warm and melty with ice cream on top...delicious). Afterwards, we were feeling spontaneous, so we decided to go to the beach (my roommate had her grandma's car for the evening). It was 11:30pm when we got to the beach, and it was pitch black and completely deserted. We went down to the water and ended up skinny dipping in the ocean! It was so amazing!!! The whole sky was black, and you could see all the stars and the moon reflecting on the ocean... The water was freezing, but after awhile, we all became numb and weren't cold anymore. I had a blast. And now I'm 20--no longer a teenager! :)
So, I'm celebrating my birthday with Sam on Sunday, and I can't wait. I'm letting him take care of the plans. He'll be glad that I have my computer back, because without it, I was bored out of my mind and have been calling him nonstop. *sheepish*
I need a new bathing suit. The weather's getting warm, and it'd be nice to go to the beach again.
Also, I need to start seriously looking for a place to live next semester! It seems like all the places I've seen are pretty expensive so far, though...and the places that are cheap have huge downsides. We'll see. I just do NOT want to live on campus another year.
