Break Continues...
I had an eye appointment today and am getting new reading/driving glasses, which is cool, I guess, 'cause it meant I got to try on a bunch of stylin' glasses frames. Apparently, my right eye has gotten worse, so that it is now 2x as bad as my left eye (although my left eye's sight is pretty good, all things considered). And also, I'm farsighted--which I'm told means that things are fuzzy both far away and really up close. Why they don't simply term that "fuzzy-sighted" is beyond me.
Anyway, it was yet another day of doing absolutely nothing of interest rest and relaxation. My accomplishments today:
-I slept in until 12pm
-I took a shower
-I earned 10 more Stars in Super Mario Galaxy
-I continued cleaning up leftover Christmas decorations
-I fiddled about on the internet and googled random things
-I left a message on the voicemail of the Hoofprints on the Heart Volunteer Coordinator
-I wished I had a snazzy, important-sounding title like Volunteer Coordinator and came up with several possibilities: Acacia Schmidt, School Vacation and Relaxation Coordinator; Director of Boredom and a Meaningless Existence; Administrator of Excessive Free Time
-I counted down the days until I fly back to San Diego on the 21st
-I was only 10 minutes late to my eye appointment
-During my friendly chit-chat with my optometrist, I refrained from bragging excessively about Sam ("My boyfriend's nearsighted, and his glasses are this thick!")
-I wrote this masterpiece of a livejournal entry
