The day before I went back to SDSU, I had to dig some old files off of my old PC before my parents got rid of it. I was amazed at the number of IM conversations I saved, for one thing. As I began to read through them, trying to decide which ones were worth keeping and which ones I no longer needed, I was struck by the fact that I rarely have those

I've known you since fourth grade. Since you moved here. Heck, besides the teacher, I was the first person to talk to you here. You can't stop being my friend ever. And I'll happily remind you of that as often as you need. ^^

My AIM is sequoiaWings. You're welcome to stalk me. You are definately one of the few one-on-one friends that I feel I have. The sad thing is that there seem to be only a few. :(

And I think the 'rarity' of one-on-one friends is just the way it goes, unfortunately. Some people a few more than others, and some less. I mean, if we could be one-on-one with everyone, world peace would be done and all the problems of the world solved!

No such luck yet, though. Bummer.

yeah, as sad as it is but i think that's just how it goes when you're growing up - and by that i mean, leave highschool, then leave uni... when life gets serious with fulltime jobs and mortgages and bfs. how old are you now?
