Right, so last night was another D&D adventure... the troublemaker from last time got the boot a week ago, so we were breaking in the new guy/replacement.
And I had to start a new character. Why? Because the party didn't have a flipping spellcaster! We had two... one was a bastard of a player (the one we kicked out), and the other made another character. Idiotically enough, he went back to the class he started with, waay back in February: a Ranger. *sigh*
Right, so now I'm the party's good-two-shoes, Lawful Good Dwarven cleric ¬.¬ Goddamnit, how do I get myself into these things?!
Still, I did a decent job of dispelling a boat-load of fear effects, buffing our front-line samurai, keeping the n00b's character alive despite massive trauma, and keeping myself alive all the same.
Ran into a few tight spots, though... It was a level 4 adventure, but I chose to multiclass my cleric with a level of monk. Which meant I was missing my 3rd level spells. *growls at the samurai* Stop bitching about it! My monk AC feat (Wis bonus + AC) just so happened to be the only thing keeping my alive those three times I got attacked!
Rrrrr.
