Well, that was unpleasant.
Recent flooding was actually great timing, as it allowed me to take the overland route to Minas Tirith for my new job! Am sure it would have been a more scenic trip if everything hadn't been under water, but it allowed me to make excellent time.
However, did not count on one very big minus of being landlocked: the ground moves. Not fun. Things fall from above. Have had orc of a time getting chunks of masonry cleared out of my pool in spare time. Fortunately, the kids are great, very easy to take care of and I have NOT licked ANY of them, so nyah!. Seems they thought it was more of a new game thanks to my l33t juggling skillz instead of something to worry about. *whew*
