spent all morning looking for the new cats what had disappeared overnight...found them i ń the open in places that i had searched many times, leading me to conclude that they are chesire cats
finished three new books...well, one new book and two that might be familiar to some of you.perhaps. at least by name.
yes, i reread both the fellowship of the ring and the hitchhiker's guide...it's been three or four years since i have read them thoroughly and i was again enthralled by , well you know..the grandeur of the one and the wryness of the other. brilliant books, i'm in love all over again---
the new book was bartlett's england under the norman and angevin kings...in the new oxford history of england series...a really well written book...not just a politico-military history, but a through analysis of all classes of society, cosmologies, folklore and religion, entertainment, manners and etiquette, food and drink and so on. excellent--
