Hermione was playing ball with another dog when a soccer ball rolled a few feet away from her. She REALLY LOVES balls. Someone emailed me "Hermione's a hoot." She makes me laugh everyday. I think she considers it one of her many jobs. LOL

Today as she sleeps in a little ball, I see hair covering her back knees, a bit thin, but no bare knee. After two months of bare knees, and trying 3 different dog foods and salmon oil, I am grateful for some hair growth. Her tail is also starting to fill out again. Perhaps tomorrow I will not be grateful as the hair sheds and covers my floor.

Hermione has learned how to push accessible crosswalk buttons. It combines two of her favorite things to do which is an UP and a PUSH plus the adoration of crowds. Hermione is a smart girl.  I told her to get the phone which was on a table on a charger in an upright position. Being a novice handler initially I told her UP and GET. She readily went up and gave me her "I have no idea what you want" look since there were many things on the table and I have never asked her to get the phone before. So I learned ( Read more... )
