28 gays and a lesbian
thats who rocked up to nick's house at 1am on tuesday for the afterparty of 'minus 18'...
needless to say we didnt go to bed till 6am and i was up again at 7 coz i had the horriblest dreams and couldnt sleep...
there were some real snobs and so real sweeties. i met a guy called dan who was the most genuine person, really sweet.. he's going to come to brisbane some time. and steve whose greatest dream is to backpack europe and all he's doing at the moment is saving for it. and sash who is an intersting person -all into the significance of horoscopes and ancient egypt.
it screwed us around tho - we are all still tired.
wednesday we went to brunswick st... which is AWESOME! like west endbut less hippie and more cooler. i got this fantastic red and white pleated skirt from a vintage shop. i just need to do a bit of altering. i'll put pictures up. its sexy!
we also went to joes garage where mum and dad used to take us on saturday mornings for breakfast. the hot chocolate is still the bomb! yummO!
and then we met ziggs and tris from the boards for dinner at 'the planet cafe' on brunswick st. it was really great to meet them both! they are both wonderful. and im not just saying that coz they read this ;). i was kinda nervous bout meeting them, but it was great and heaps of fun!
and tonight we are going for dinner at a friend from primary schools house. it will be interesting to see him again after years!
