gleetings from sunny *cough* melbourne
hola all.
thought i would drop you a line to say greetings. im at my bestfriends house in melbourne... nick is great! so good to see him again. and i got to meet his gf, liz, who is a sweetie.
yesterday was very mooch-y... just hanging round the house chatting and watching videos.
nick made me watch 'the rocky horror show' but coz i'd got up at 4:30 that morning and hadnt gone to sleep till bout midnight the night before i fell asleep in the middle of it - apparently in the only bit that makes any sense! its so bizzare!
last night the four of us started to paint the walls in nick's parents bathroom as a surprise when they get back. so that was amusing at 10 last night. the tiles go about 2/3 of the way up the wall then the rest is a really nice brown colour. so that was interesting standing on the vanity/bath/toilet/stepladder/barstool to try and reach al the odd corners. we have to do the second coat tommorow. hope his mum likes it!
this afternoon/night nick is volunteering at 'minus 18' which is an underage dance party for queer or queer-curious kids to go to. so he'l lbe home bout midnight with his the other organisers/volunteers to hang out.
andy's party the night before we left was fun. he was so pissed off at his gf's friend who was meant to be organising it... he had done all the work... i looked awesome if i do say so myself... so unlike me tho... i was a fairy but everyone kept calling me a whore... i wore - big black fairy wings (ames
s formal wings) with red glitter on them, a blackand red corset top, a short black pleated skirt, uber-chunky ankel boots with huge heels and knee high stockings.... i looked great. hehe (so modest too!)
and dylan's uncles wedding the afternoon/night before was beautiful.. it was a fairytale kind of theme 'happily ever after' and was all medieval. the wedding was outside and the reception was in the local restaurant (it was in ballina in Northern NSW) and was all candles and white roses! so pretty. matty (dylans brother) and i did swing dancing at one point - he's pretty good and i was picking it up as we ewnt along. and dylan danced with me which was the BEST! he's a sweetie!
so anywho...
im seeing a primary school friend and his mum (whose a sweetie). she's invited all three of us over for dinner thursday night. and tommorow night we're meeting up with ziggy/paul from the TIU boards... exciting but im nervous bout it... hehe... oh and zoo on thursday... so fun fun
