I've been a bit busy lately, so I haven't been able craft or post - but here are some things that I did get to do when I wasn't either studying, doing assignments or etc
The inside of the Rocky Road Cupcake! My friend (as you can see by her hands) broke it open for me to take a picture of it ^_^ And as the cupcake was inspired by these fabulous rocky road that a friend of mine makes, I got the approval from her - and her boyfriend too! - for the cupcake! Yay!
This time, I was able to get my hands on a knife and cut the Lychee and Raspberry Cupcake open! Ta-dah! Pieces of lychee jammed into a cupcake, and surrounded by raspberry swirls and vanilla cake! I think next time though, I will dice the lychee, or cut it into finer strips - as having to eat the lychee pieces all in one go as they were still big pieces was a bit of a shame.
Moving on!
I went to Novembars with my twin and a friend, and this burger/cafe/takeway place has some pretty funny and extreme challenges, that can rival some of the challenges you can see on the ManVFood tv shows!
I opted for the Star Burger (with the Lot) instead ^_^. It was really juicy and yummy, and the shape of the bun was novel. However, by the same token, a bit messy to eat - but then again, I suspect I'm not a neat eater! But it had a thick beef patty, tomato, egg, beetroot, bacon, lettuce and sauce. It was $10, and it was a pretty big burger by my standards. Definitely going to have this again when I can!
My twin had the Belt Burger - basically a bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato burger. And we had some chips too~ XD
The friend comparing his massive Anaconda burger to my twin's smaller Belt burger. Look at those stacks of patties and cheese!
Later on we headed over to Superstar Waffles for dessert. And pictured above, is a Matcha Latte chiller, and the Taro Latte made into a chiller. The flavours were really good, and strong enough for my taste. They also had a blob of ice-cream floating on the top - joy!
Our waffles!
The S'mores Waffle - so cute how they had mini marshmallows in a shot glass! The waffles were crispy and warm with fluffy insides, and the melted marshmallow, and dollop of Nutella with it was fantastic.
We also got the Chocolate Waffle Stick - basically a skewered waffle, drizzled in chocolate. This was more crunchy than the S'more Waffle - but really delicious!
Yup - so that is it! The following weeks for me will be pretty hectic, but perhaps I will find time to squeeze in a post or two!
^_^
