Regina Spektor is the most adorable person in the entire world.
It is fact, yo.
This whole night has been amazing!
It would have been better if it was a real show with a longer set, but d00d, I met Regina! The show was only five songs, but she did Samson, On The Radio, and Uh-Merica, so I was pleased. I listened to the NPR version of her DC show and she messed up Uh-Merica then...and she did the same thing tonight. But she was so adorable messing up, I don't think many people can pull that off.
At the signing I was too shy to say more than a few words. Oh well, there's always next time...whenever that is.
Sara asked Regina to sign her purse since she didn't have any of her cds. She told Regina she loved her in Russian and Regina said thank you(in Russian). It was so adorable!
Also...Fells Point has got to be the nicest part of Baltimore I've ever seen. I'd go there all the time if it wasn't for the crappy parking situation.
I think I know the way now. On the way there I got us incredibly lost and what should have been a 20 minute drive turned into more like an hour. It was pretty fucking hilarious, except for those few minutes where I thought we were going to be lost in Baltimore forever. I'm apparently really bad at reading maps and have no sense of direction. I blame it on the stupid Baltimore Beltway. In DC I-95 ends and turns into one side of the Beltway. In Baltimore 95 just keeps on going. That is just crazy!
I really wish Baltimore had a metro, because that would be way sweet.
I also really wish I had eaten ice cream for dinner instead of a burrito. Still, a burrito is probably healthier. When we were eating dinner in the park(overlooking the harbor! and tugboats!) some banana cart came by. It was literaly, a horse driven fruit cart with bananas and cantaloupes. The man guiding the horse just kept yelling "bananas!" It was pretty awesome.
ZOMG, I just ♥ Regina so much! Like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!
