guess who's coming to gainesville... MARIA!! wooo that random Friday night where I was feeling quite bummed and was watching Iota Phi Theta alone ended up working to my advantage. My homie is coming! I'm making her experience dorm life with me, it's going to rock! Not only is she coming to chill, but she's coming to accompany me to BGE better known as Black Greek Extravaganza 2005!! That my friends is super exciting, to me at least. I'm definitley going to enjoy myself this weekend, I have been needing change, and I've been getting it.
Gainesville Dance Competition is coming closer! For those of you who don't know, I'm dancing in it with Grupo Quisqueya (DSA). Yussss!! Tickets are $7.00 Presale, but you can get them at the door. The whole idea of joining the Dominican Student Association worked out really well for me. I really like chillin with the people and they are all really nice. Everybody is so down to earth and they like to dance which works out for me. Practicing has been really fun -- getting into the swing of things and getting off my lazy bum. The ankle is cooperating, but it's got to get better by November 19th (the day of the competition).
Soooo much more to update, but it will have to wait.
