New obsession

Boxing.

That's right, boxing.

It all started Saturday afternoon. I got home from work just in time to watch the last 3 minutes of the International Bowl. (UB vs UConn, For those out of the loop, UB is my college and this was our first MAC Championship win ever. So quite a big deal even though I don't follow college football.)  Anyways, the football game was on espn2 and after it was just some old recordings of some boxing matches. But, it started with The Holyfield v Qawi fight in '86. Which was pretty damn awesome but we never finished watching it for reasons I can't remember. But at some point the DVR was actually paused and later that night when we came back to it we were able to watch the rest of the "classic fights" that they were playing on espn2, including Douglas v Tyson.

And well, lately we've been hitting up bit torrent and checking tv guide when we get a chance to see if we can catch some more. Corey and I just finished watching the 2nd Holyfield v Tyson fight that we downloaded. (The one where Tyson bites Holyfield's ear) That was crazy, after watching the Douglas v Tyson fight we already disliked Tyson's style and through the whole fight we were cheering for Douglas (even after I exclaimed "Do you realize we're cheering for a fight that's 20 years old?") And by the end we were whopping and hollering as Douglas knocked Tyson out :P

But yeah, as Corey just said, "I wish there was an easier way to watch 'em".

So if anyone knows where I can get my hands on some classic fights (and cheaply mind you) that'd be awesome. :)
