ugh, i really hate it when teachers give us homework over the holidays... i've got math, english, and a bunch of government stuff. for english, i gotta read hamlet and do a project on it. for gov, i've got a paper to write and a chapter to read for the next exam.
but enough about that. :> i saw harry potter last friday, so here's a cut for that:
good points:
- ralph fiennes
- visuals
- gred and forge :B
the visuals were very good, especially the dragons and the dark mark, even. 9-9; it looked pretty cool. ralph fiennes, the guy who played voldemort, was a master. :O i liked his makeup job, too, just like a snake. as always, fred and george made the whole movie ten times better. x3 ♥
bad points:
- no quidditch :(
- not enough snape
also, the teenage drama made it seem long and tedious at times to me. i felt worn-out after watching it. 9-9; harry's acting at the end, when he came back with diggory, kinda bugged me. aaand i miss the old dumbledore from the very first movie. :\
rita skeeter looked disturbingly like my old language teacher in middle school, mrs. cherry. she was a scary old lady who treated her terriers like her children and seriously thought one of her students was planning to kill her. we were...what, 11? 12? o_O;
anyways, it was an okay movie. i just...wouldn't jump at the chance to go see it again, really. ^^;
rachell came over after the movie, and we watched dog day afternoon, a movie about an attempted bank robbery. :x it's funny to see the robbers bumble through the operation for the first half of the movie, but the last half's pretty serious and suspenseful. al pacino plays in it. |3
okay that's about it over here. |B that and i beat sh4, but i will spare you (for now xO), because oi'm hungary. :O
