Spoilers for Season 7 of Criminal Minds
So in searching for information on my love/hate relationship with NCIS, I came upon this:

So Emily is leaving for good and this time it had nothing to do with being fired but instead out of her own volition. I really loved her character, but this whole I came back from the dead storyline has made her my least favorite character. This entire season has been a let down for the most part. That overtop emo Reid blip was just that, a blip. We didn't get several episodes of tension for this entire situation to be dealth with. Instead they did a piss poor instant fixer-upper that I never would have expected from such a great series. Criminal Minds was always very attentive to details and often let storylines develop throughout several episodes or even half a season. Not this time. The whole Reid is cool with everthing was just so disappointing. They could have done so much with this. CBS as a whole has become a waster basket of half-assed shows that used to be good. From NCIS to Criminal Minds to shows that are just bad but have enough action and eye-candy that people still watch them such as Hawaii-Five-O and the worst scripted series I have ever had the displeasure of watching, CSI: Miami. Not to mention over the top acting and just terrible directing/acting.
I hope that whoever they chose to replace Emily will be a better scripted actress than who we've had before.
