A question for all yee comic nerds...
...And I mean really hardcore ones. On a whim, I purchased the first issue of a series called DoorMan. It was a fifty cent purchase, so I figured to give it a shot. It was quite interesting, so now I am looking for more info on the series.
Apparently, it's a rather obscure series. So obscure that Wiki and Google were *no* help to me whatsoever. Has anyone even heard of this? (And no, this has nothing to do with the Marvel character.) If so, where can I go to find more about it? Or, is there anything online that might have info on some "cult" comics?
For the curious, it appears to be about a man who is able to look at a person and see the secrets that lie buried in their hearts. In this universe, if a person keeps a secret too long, it is "birthed" and a phantom of the secret haunts the real world, causing havoc until the secret-holder finally 'fesses up about it. The man's job is to try and get people to confess before it's too late.
I wish I could remember who the creator or artist was, but all I remember is that it seems to be an early 90's piece. I think the issue I got was printed in '93, somewhere around there.
I know it's not a lot of help, but any you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Arigato in advance!
