I have definitely not seen enough of these. Right now I'm fangirling about Dilip Kumar like crazy :) I love both his entertainers like Kohinoor, Aan (I own a copy of Subhash's book as well, and it did say what you wrote here, but some other sources say it wasn't a flop but a hit, so I'm confused...) and Azaad but also his more serious films like Madhumati and Devdas. So basically my plan is to see everything of his and it's going fairly well. I also like Raj Kapoor (especially in Awara and Shree 420) and Dev Anand (especially in CID). And Guru Dutt of course. A very interesting actor that's forgotten quite often is Balraj Sahni (see for example Do Bigha Zameen and Kathputli).

Out of the ladies I like Meena Kumari, Vijayanthimala, Waheeda Rehman and Nargis the most. I've also grown to like Madhubala (I just did not like her instantly, I needed some time to warm to her) and Nimmi (in certain roles because sometimes she's annoying).

Directors wise most of the stuff Raj Kapoor, Guru Dutt and Bimal Roy did is really good and at least worth knowing about.

I was confused about a couple of things in the book as well...but I figure it is the book I own, so I'll go with it...but maybe I should make a comment like "take everything with a grain of salt- this is only one person's view on Bollywood" or something like that.

I too have a bit of a problem with Madhubala, but I am starting to like her. :)
