(no subject)
a few months ago benjamin bought me a new bible. i've been trying to remember to read the daily verses. when i do remember they seem to have been picked jsut for my current situation, as though they could see the future and knew where i was going to be at this exact momment.
todays was:
"I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but i focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and recieve the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."
Philippians 3:12-14 (NLT)
i dont' want to forget the past but i'm definitely focused on the future and i'm looking at it happier than i have ever been.

i really like vox. it has reminded me why i liked journaling and blogging in the first place. it makes me think, inspires me, and gives me a release when i'm stressed. its also great to start a journal when i'm happy all the others started when i was depressed. this one is 4 years old. i still like it though. just maybe not as much as vox.
