Bday recap
So, my birthday came and went, I'm now officially 24.
It was one of the best birthdays ever. I woke up, got out of my room and found a wrapped gift from Tinna on the living room table. She said happy birthday and I thanked her. I found it was Lagaan on DVD, and a gift certificate. Awesome stuff.
I went into the office and people just started coming over to my desk to wish me a good birthday. It was so weird. I mean, most of my family, hell, even my best friend usually forgets my birthday.
After work, I came home and fixed myself up before we, me, Tinna, Asgeir and Anita (the couple who lives right above us), left to go out for dinner in a very chic restaurant. Anita, the guy's wife, brought me flowers, yellow tiger lilies, and I actually cracked an Imagine Me and You joke.
After dinner, we went out for ice cream. And finally came back home.
While we were getting ice cream, I admitted that no one had called me from back home.
The fact that no one called me kinda hurt.
After a smoke, my phone rang, and guess who it was? My mom. It was about 11 pm.
My best friend didn't call me at all, not even a text message. It's sad.
Anyways, I had a damn good time, and I wanna thank the people who sent me happy bday wishes again. Thanks gals!
