Countdown 'til the end of the semester: 22 days!!!
Ok, to explain the last entry, I was under the influence of swollen sinuses and no medicine. I am sick, surprise surprise. Itchy eyes, headaches, body aches, swollen sinuses, stuffiness, congestion, cough, it's all there. And that day it was the worse 'cause I didn't have any medicine yet. I have medicine now and am feeling a bit better. Yesterday I spent a little time with Kory before he left for Thanksgiving break, then went to class, then hung out with 'Chel for awhile, which was nice 'cause I hadn't seen much of her. We went to visit a couple people over at the Scout office and I took her to Taco Bell, and the rest of the time we hung out in her room and talked and talked and talked. She always makes me feel better when things are weighing on my mind. I left her room to say goodbye to roomie and then get myself packed up for the break, and then I headed over to my side of the town. I picked up Jason and we went to Aunt Jean's for Thanksgiving dinner, and there was green bean casserole! Yum! And pumpkin pie, which I wish wasn't so connected with Thanksgiving and would be served in abundance year round, hahahaha! After time with the family we shopped at Walmart for a bit before heading back over to the other side of town to pick 'Chel up at her sister's house so we could go see Harry Potter. It was a pretty good movie, I wasn't really blown away, but I enjoyed it. We didn't get out of the movie 'til 1:15am and let's just say the drive home was difficult, haha! Jace and I got up this morning and I got to drive Hooptie 2.0 to Flatwoods to have Thanksgiving dinner with Jason's family. I talked to Kory on the phone while we were there, and he sounded so relaxed and happy to be home, it was wonderful. We left not long after we finished eating because I was starting to feel worse and had a 2 hour drive ahead of me. We were there for awhile before we ate because Jason's mom had ordered a cooked turkey and they gave her the wrong one, so she had to go back to the store and exchange it and we ended up eating an hour and a half later than planned. I had trouble keeping my eyes open at first while driving back but I put on some good music and woke right up, haha! I am back now, hanging out at Jason's and staying the night with him because he's not going to my grannie's with me tomorrow and I won't be back until Sunday. I'm excited, I haven't been to Letcher County in awhile and I miss my family. I get to see my cousin Trish and give her Christmas gift to her. That and I get really really really good country cookin. :) Ah relaxation. I love it! Going back to campus on Sunday is going to be difficult, haha!
