okay, so just so you know? i LOVE the way you describe things. such as:

the first drops of wax, which had started to run over the lips of their hollows and bead slowly down the sides of the ivory tapers <-aaksjghksgh this is so vivid!

she also reawakened the earth, breathing warmth and life back into the soil. Her song called back the birds, and her voice melted the ice from the rivers <-just beautiful.

flamboyant robes, bold smirk, glittering green eyes, and waves of golden hair that managed to be arrogant in their curl <-i love your zoisite, he's a terror >D

The conversation felt like they were picking their way across a riverbed; each of them were trying to watch their step, but the water was warm and pleasant, and occasionally the glitter of sunlight refracting off the surface of the river was dazzling. <-this might be my favorite, totally gorgeous imagery.

this 'verse is just staggering in its detail and intrigue - i am so very curious about what happens between years 10 and 30, and how the oscura luna affects all of them - we already know zacarias's mother was killed by them, yes? i'm also curious about the significance of mariposa - is there a reason everyone who's missing (emilia, catalina) seems to be hanging out there? :P

i love the clever names you've given everyone, and every character is so beautifully sketched. zacarias in particular - his showy personality absolutely jumps off the page at you, and his interactions with dimas are pure comedy gold. your serafina is so sweet and yet not stupid, just as he said - the perfect usagi, who i always have trouble writing.

some of the lines between dimas and serafina are so touching and real without being overly sappy, like:

I sit here with my eyes closed, listening to the sound of your breaths so close to mine and thinking that this must be the purest expression of love.

i very much like the inclusion of damian and sergio as suitors for her hand, mostly because they provide such a contrast to the way dimas courts her, and it makes it so clear how dimas makes serafina love him. also love how you stay so true to diamond's and seiya's personalities - especially with damian as seeking redemption in the end.

what else, what else. OH!!! as an jadeite and rei junkie, i am of course DYING to see more interaction between outrageous joaquin and aloof rosalia (pretty please?). that one little scene with the two of them and dimas had me hanging off every word. you can't do that to me! as always, your writing - in this scene and throughout - is flawless and seemingly effortless.

so again, i must ask: is there more, and when do i get to see it?!

thank you so much for your lovely comments! your reviews --> much happiness.

lol, zoisite IS a terror. he just kept sniping at mamoru and wouldn't stop, but i think it was probably good for him (mamoru) in this 'verse xD. it is such a relief to hear that serafina is a good fit for usagi. i find it such a struggle to write her as a sweet person without being overly naive or obnoxious. but i loved your usagi in Son and Brother, Husband and Father! she was the perfect fit for mamoru there, always in his life but never intrusive, and always able to put her finger on what should make the people around her happiest.

ah well...i'm also curious about what happens in this verse because, well, i don't know all of it yet myself! yes, the oscura luna kills zacarias's mother, and between year 20 and the light side of the shadow wall, they're pretty much run out of town with some lingering tentacles here and there. that involves all sorts of gory adventures for zacarias, casimiro, and joaquin, and they hook up with nicodemo along the way. even dimas is involved, besides the little knife fight with zacarias, although they don't really run into each other that much. magdalena and casimiro meet and marry, and so do nico and maricela. joaquin and rosalia are probably the second-to-last holdouts after emilia ;) i'm going to have to look into why mariposa is such a hot spot!

thank goodness dimas and serafina falling in love worked out :) i was coming down to the deadline with a much longer fic than i expected and i was kind of like will this work in two short scenes?? please let it work!! i also have not seen any SM episodes with the three lights so that was rather interesting... it was a struggle to make seiya/sergio likable but i had a very clear image of him daydreaming about kakyuu on a bright day and that made him more sympathetic to me.

joaquin and rosalia wiggled their way in at the last minute and just had to have their say. i suspect that this means i have to figure out what happens to them (how can you not love the girl who makes you eat chili dust?)! i will do my best :)
