I seem to keep making spore creatures/vehicles that are backward unintentionally. I see magic eye images back to front. I continually get left/right mixed up. I also tend to use the opposite word I intend to use in conversations. I think this is all evidence that my brain works the wrong way round ( Read more... )

I found my earings! I'm so freaking happy! I lost them last week when I put them in one of my work shirt pockets after being asked to take them out. Grr, like I'm putting my head that close to any sort of thing that could catch on them. Still rules are rules I suppose. Well, my first post in ages and it's a little surreal. I'm up here in the pilbara in my cosy little room on my bed connected to the internet via next G and watching the beijing olympics opening ceremony.

Oh and I have real lemon pudding and cream!

There is an art to drawing lines. For a straight line you start at one point focus on the destination and draw it all without looking at the line. Curved lines are a flick of the wrist. Yeah we had to evacuate from the drill area today. Fun and games.

Well it appears that the bush fire that's been hovering around us for a couple of days has decided to take a turn closer to the camp and the road. It's moving east of us but it keeps cutting back and edging closer to us as well.
