CHARACTER INFORMATION

NAME: [Character‘s full name.] Tobias Fangor
AGE: [If the age is unknown, just give us the approximate age.] Around 19
FANDOM: [The series you are taking him/her from. If it is an original character, just say so!] Animorphs

HISTORY:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_%28Animorphs%29 (taken from "Ram the blade ship" at the tail end of the last book.)

PERSONALITY:

Tobias's human element was something of a wimp, a bully magnet until things changed. He thinks more like a predator now, and his time as a warrior has hardened him. He is something of a loner, although he likes spending time with the people close to him-Rachel and Ax especially, but the others of the group too.He does have a weird sense of humor from time to time, like when he said that if someone makes him mad, they better get a hat.

Tobias has spent a lot of time coming to grips with his triple nature, discovering who and what he is. He has accepted it more by this stage, though. He has been bolstered by tapping into his Andalite heritage and would probably like to learn more about that part of him, even thougjh he carries no Andalite DNA. He has learned to think like the predator hawk, and use the hawk's instincts to help him survive, even when he's not in hawk form.

He often stares blankly and squints when he morphs human. He's not used to human expressions, since hawks don't make expressions, and he feels half blind with human eyes. In hawk form, when he gets nervous, he tends to start preening his feathers. He is smart and can be resourceful when he wants to. He has learned to live primarily by his wits and he can adapt to a lot of different situations by now.

SAMPLES

FIRST PERSON:

It seems I've gone from one alien war to another. I don't like not knowing what's happening back home, if anyone made it out alive, all that stuff. And I don't like being yanked around.

I guess there's one positive in all this...These guys are way different than the guys I'm used to fighting. It might actually be a bit easier this time, since they aren't in human bodies.

POST 1

Tobias soared silently over the hydroponics area, almost feeling as though he were in paradise. He often created forests in the Sensoriums, but being in a place with living plants and actual animals was somehow far better. He had a feeling Ax would enjoy this place as well, and was going to tell him as soon as he caught up with him again. There was little time for things now; free moments like this had to be grabbed when possible. But Tobias was happy for any small bits of free time he could get, in between meetings and watching Tom.

He spotted a mouse in the grass, and his instincts took over. The human part of his brain was yelling at him that Stacy was probably going to spank him for it, but he couldn't hold back anymore. He streaked downward, his talons open, ready for the kill. If he'd had human salivary glands, they'd be watering right now.

POST 2

Tobias thought he might have hit on something that might lift his sprits for a bit. He, unlike some ship-lings, doesn't have time to be bored, because he's too busy being depressed, conflicted and confused with the situation with his parents. Sometimes all the thinking gives him a headache. And a hawk can't exactly take an aspirin for it.

He's in shallow water, fighting the urge to scramble away as he begins his morph. He had thought of joining the Power Ranger in the swimming pool before, but it simply wasn't big enough for this creature to be comfortable in. His legs shrink and his tail grows out, becoming flat and broad. His wings shrink and shape into still-feathered fins. His body grows and becomes streamlined and narrow. His beak softens, pushes outword and grows longer. Finally, his feathers flatten against his skin as they transform into a sheet of rubbery gray, plumping up as a layer of blubber ripples to life beneath them.

He's never been exactly fond of swimming, and the hawk hates being a waterlogged mess. But it's all different in this body. He remembers helping to toss Jake into the water afte the Visser's trial, trying to lift his spirits. The result was marginal for Jake, but it does help him a bit.

He powers through the water, flying, as always, just not through the air. He hurls himself skyward, then plunges downward into a blue abyss. He chases simulated fish and plays with simulated dolphins. He twists and turns and spyhops. He likes the feeling of the dolphin's natural joy and playfulness. He has other water morphs he could have chosen-orca, sperm whale, Leeran-but this is one he enjoys quite a lot.

Of course there is one question in his mind: How in the heck does the Sensorium simulate so much water without it getting out of control?

POST 3

Tobias is hanging around the hallways and the common areas, curious about who's been podpopped this time. He's stunned though when he sees a familiar face among them. He worries for a moment that it's Visser Three, but then he knows it's not. There's no mistaking the body, the face...he would never forget seeing that face that night in the construction sight.

He hangs in the air for a moment, like one of those cartoon birds flapping in place, then lands.

he says, half confused, half stunned. He access his human DNA and morphs, letting Elfangor see the human he once was. "How I know is a long story, but I know everything. I read the letter. I know who you are. I just can't believe you're here"

< Ax! Are you around? You need to get here, now! > he calls out.

Also, just out of curiosity, why are you using the little things used for coding for his speech? It made things a little hard to read.

It's what's generally used for thought-speech,even in the books. I could try something like () if it'd be easier to keep up with.

Nah, that isn't necessary. All the IC interactions will take place either on the networks or logs comm.
