She started off so well...

The other day, I was doing a little "shopping" when I happened across someone with a very nifty-looking RP set.  It was clear she'd put a lot of effort into putting it together, and I was even happier when I noticed she had a flag.

But then, things started going bad...

See, this is a nice set of gear.  Rather classy, wouldn't you agree?  (Or maybe I just like that particular robe.  Hard to tell.)

Then she hits us out of nowhere with "Witch Hunter".  What is that?  Does she run down worgen druids?  Let's find out more.

...What.  (I mean, I like guns as much as the next person, but I don't assault new acquaintances with a detailed description of everything in my collection.)

Just from the lineup, I have a feeling this is very much borrowed from a manga or something.  I mean, that's some seriously heavy artillery, and I can't imagine how she even moves around with it all.

She must have left the one-woman army outfit at home that day.

Anyway, this is a prime example of how not to do this.  What she did was describe with tremendous love every last detail of her character's infinite armory, but left out a crucial detail: what Adira Collett looks like.  Granted, I might notice that she's armed to the nosehairs, but I think I'd also find a face somewhere in there.  What this person has done is to reduce her own character to a walking pile of weapons and her minions; there's nothing here that indicates Adira is an interesting person in her own right, just a probable ripoff of some Japanese or Korean fiction I've never heard of.
