So my math teacher is entirely crazy. Like he will spend time going on about stuff and then admit that it is not something we have to know, and he talks about buckets and building 70 all the time. Further information can be found here: http://ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=67421&page=1

He does seem pretty nice and he occasionally makes a joke but I am so lulled into semi-consciousness that I can't muster the effort to laugh.

And my programming professor:

[16:34:26] badenglishihave: no offense to your school but this guy is pathetic
[16:34:29] badenglishihave: how did he get a job
[16:34:31] badenglishihave: he's singing
[16:34:34] badenglishihave: i want to cry
[16:34:41] bigredrockeater3: I think it's because he was at Cornell
[16:34:49] bigredrockeater3: THis is his first year here
[16:34:58] badenglishihave: ah
[16:35:04] bigredrockeater3: They were probably like "Ooooh Cornell!"
[16:35:10] badenglishihave: the old "i went to a good school so i must be awesome" epidemic
[16:35:21] badenglishihave: or "he", not "i"
[16:35:26] badenglishihave: yah
[16:35:28] badenglishihave: most likely
[16:35:42] bigredrockeater3: sometimes RIT tries too hard to be prestigious
[16:35:49] bigredrockeater3: It usually ends badly
[16:35:53] badenglishihave: it looks good on paper tho

Yeah. His code is not nicely white spaced ("A lot of people don't realise you can write methods all on one line"), and he makes up his own homework assignments instead of using the standard departments, and instead using the nice clear powerpoint presentations the department makes up he makes his own notes. Too bad the tests are issued by the department. I don't think he would be a bad professor if he just standardized his class instead of being all cavalier.

On an entirely unrelated topic. You know what's really weird? Think back to five years ago and think about what you were doing and your biggest worries and preoccupations. Yeah, wacky. Wait what's this "Adult Content" thing on the post options. I'll put that it has adult concepts.

-edit: apparently that puts my entire entry in an lj-cut that's like "THis entry contains content that may not be suitable for minors" which is retarded so I'm geting rid of that.
