Julie looks through her June Graph again and discovers Important Things.
I only squee'd about it a little before, but I thought I'd mention again that Arisu has a two-page spread in the June issue of Graph and looks like absolute heaven. It's the section called "Fantastic Fairy" where I guess they have 'siennes talk about their makeup, hairstyle, accessories, etc. As I was reading it over more closely last night I discovered Important Thing #1:
The necklace and earrings Arisu picked for her featurette were from the Phantom shinjin kouen... and she made them herself. Apparently at that time as she was looking through various accessories for her costume she couldn't find exactly what she had in mind, so she decided to make her own. "While looking at a book", she says, so I'm sure she didn't design them completely on her own, but still. Love.
Before Important Thing #2 I should reveal the embarrassing fact that I've never owned an issue of Graph before. I'd flipped through a few of caithion's on occasion, but never gotten a close look at every single feature. So maybe this has always been around and I just never knew, but I discovered a section that mentions a choice of various gifts you can mail in for if you subscribe or are subscribed to the magazine or something.
Important Thing #2 is that one of those gifts is a signed copy of Arisu's picture.
Oh, what I wouldn't give... but if I'm reading this right, the signed pictures (there are three of them; the others are Asako and Kimu, but I have priorities, you know) are only sent to one person each, and the other gifts (the portrait of Kiriyan from the front of the magazine or the one of Kimu from her "Dear" feature) are sent to 5 and 3 persons each, respectively. So you know, "send in and maybe you'll win something but it's not likely because tons of other people will be sending in for them too". I think.

On a related note, even though I brought my scanner with me, right now I can't scan anything. ;___; But to anyone else who has / is getting this issue and would be willing to scan Arisu's picture and make me a LJ layout from it, I offer you my eternal love... and shiny presents from Japan. ;-)
