Okay so. I've had my week-long break from the internet. You may have thought I wouldn't need a week, since I haven't been very present online anyway, but it was for my wrists as much as for my emotional state. And when my carpal tunnel gets bad it affects my emotional state, so it's all connected anyway.
Anyway.
I made it a point to reply to everyone's comments on my last post. It was really nice that so many people had words of encouragement, but for all the cries of "just don't read 2chan!" and "screw the haters!" ...Something needs to be done; more needs to be said on this subject, as
ekusudei already has.
I'm not going to do that right now, though.
Yesterday I got a 5-page letter in the mail from a club friend. It was very sweet, and gave me some Alice-chan information that I really appreciated hearing, and I thought to myself... If there are still at least 10 people in Japan who genuinely care about me, then I must have done something right. :)
Next up: proof that Julie can't give up Takarazuka or Japan in general, as evidenced by the number of dreams she still has on those themes.
