Kacha ga Odoru Toki (haha I am lame >.>;;;)

I never did finish that Sanspo article translation, but the press conference footage is up now and everyone's talking about it and I'd rather say something here than have to comment in everyone's journals.

What I got from the article, which is a tidied-up version of what appears to have actually been said:

Nagina is a young member facing her ( Read more... )

The night before was the first time the two of them had practiced together.

That means Kacha finished her performance in Nagoya at about 6:45PM, took a 1.5-hour shinkansen ride to Tokyo and presumably went straight into rehearsing with Asako that evening.

I also think Kacha still has little bit of otokoyaku-roughness in her voice, but she has a LOT of time until the Elisabeth run starts (she has nothing else to do after Berubara ends, right?) , so I am sure she will be able to improve her voice until then!
And I pray she's gonna blow us all away! *____*

Sometimes I put Zuka dvd on my player and clean my room without watching the pictures. And very often I mistook Kacha and your angel's speaking voice. And when I am hearing now her singing voice , I think she really sounds like Arisu's voice (with mistakes ^^: )

So my question to Mister Koike is why didn't he chose Arisu's as Elisabeth if he wanted a great voice ?

(and why he didn't chose Masaki, or Kiriyan ? )

but well anyway as I said on taka community, I hope Kacha will have time to improve (becoming a perfect musumeyaku in some month must be a hard task ...)

finished ^^

This reminded me of how annoying I find the Takarazuka way of making anything that has happened once into some sort of tradition that can't be changed (I want new stagings of plays not just revivals >pout<.) Just because the first Tsukigumi Elisabeth had an otokoyaku from another troupe in the title role doesn't mean that all Tsukigumi Elisabeth staging should.

I hope that they will give Kacha all possible support and training while not running her into the ground. And I *do* hope they have a plan for her after this role. Stating that As an otokoyaku she is far from perfection., then letting her do a major musumeyaku role, I find it hard to guess what she might do after this.
Will she still have a last chance to get a shinko lead?

That's quite a bit of backhanded compliments, Koike-sensei. Hrmph.

And holy buckets of what-have-you-eaten-that-has-made-you-so-crazy, why oh why must they work these women so hard? ;__; Poor Kacha, that must have been a grueling couple of days.

I just keep vacillating between worrying about how hard she'll be working, and wanting to believe with every fiber of my being that she'll be outstanding.
*worries and believes with you*
