I've been fairly busy lately and haven't gotten a chance to write lately. I got everything set up for the start of the semester, which is less than a month away. I'm quite excited for it!
Of course... I've read the newspapers and I can only express my condolences to everyone affected by the recent killings by this so called Lord Voldemort. I'm aghast that he dared to use my language for his name. French is the language of love, not violence, after all!
The news has even reach the other side of the channel, here in Paris. Maman is not very pleased with it at all and is currently nagging me about it. She'd much prefer me to take a post at Beauxbatons, but really? A couple hundred kilometres away doesn't make it that much safer in my opinion. I just hope they catch this guy soon.
If anyone needs me, I'll be more than happy to return to the UK, or come here. The weather is nice in Paris this time of year. ...There are too many tourists, though...
