things that have pleased me today
I just walked past a guy who looked like the lovechild of Chad Michael Murray and Chris Martin. YES IT WAS AMAZING.

Had my seminar on Lady Audley's Secret and Ruth, my tutor, brought the homoeroticism up before even I could! And then a few people other than myself went OMG YES I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. Ahhhh delightful.
And then I felt GLORIOUSLY pleased with myself after this:
BILLY: [George and Robert] is like the ultimate bromance.
TREE: Yeah, bromance with a silent B.
CLASS: ... LOL.

Got a massive giant huge stack of books out of the library for my lit essay - I'm doing it on Lady Audley's Secret and A Scandal in Bohemia and I am EXCITED about it all - AND made an office appointment with Ruth to talk over it next week AND another appointment with my PSI tutor to talk about how stumped the questions have made me. Look look at me, taking my academic career by the horns.

I have managed to start house-hunting. In a very small way. I sent an email asking if a room was still available and I haven't quite yet psyched myself up to listen to the voicemail that'll tell me whether the room is indeed available or not, but WHATEVER. Progress is being made and that is what counts.
(Ahhh I really hope the room is available. Obviously I haven't seen it yet, but it could be potentially perfect for me. Lodging with the landlady but with my own private kitchen so it is practically like a little flat, which is so very what I need if I am to complete two dissertations next year.)

GONNA WRITE FIC TOMORROW. There is probably not much point writing anything tonight as it might be Jossed by OMG THE NEXT EPISODE!!! so tomorrow it shall be.
Also, IT IS A VERY SUNNY DAY TODAY. I love it. I am going to eat quiche and read my massive stack of books and also read Young Avengers fic. (Coming soon: a post all about how EVERYONE SHOULD READ YOUNG AVENGERS omg.)
