Holmes and Watson: still quite gay
Today I watched Sherlock Holmes FOR THE SECOND TIME and today it was all the gayer. Seeing it with theoret probably helped that. Hooray for watching homoerotic films with someone who UNDERSTANDS HOW WONDERFUL IT IS. I feel a new secondary fandom coming on!
Naturally - because that is what Theo and I do - after watching the film we spent the remainder of her time in town mentally applying every ridiculous SPN fic trope we could think of to Sherlock Holmes instead. (Occasionally we paused to punch each other with delight.) PERSONAL FAVOURITE: deaged Holmes! He uses his deductive powers to solve crime and also LOCATE CAKE. The excitement of solving a case gets him all overtired and cranky and then Watson has to put him to bed. (NOT IN THAT WAY. Until he is reaged. Then absolutely in that way.)
I suspect there were points in that conversation that made Arthur Conan Doyle really wish he could crawl out of his grave and punch us in the face.
