Meanwhile, I've continued working on a project describing the historical Jesus in a cultural context, who he was, who he wasn't, and how he's appeared in western culture for the last 2000 years. Jesus month ends
May is over. Some of my work on the Jesus book is up on my web site (here). There are plenty of other topics to cover, but I think I have a good mix of the basic topics (such as the gospels) plus some more unusual ones (such as the little drummer boy). As part of the effort, I wrote an overview, which is short enough to share here.

May is Jesus month
May is my month to get cracking on my book about Jesus. That's my number one creative project, and I need to make it my first priority, over soaking in the hot tub and over looking for a job. This is the project that, if I don't do it now while I have time and space, I'll really regret it, so I need to make it priority one.
