Actually not at all... How do you propose I get to the airport?
BWI is more than a short cab drive from Reston, Virginia. And it is asking quite a bit of friends or family to drive forty-five minutes from Alexandria to Reston so they can pick me up, then drive me another hour and a half to BWI, then drive an hour back to their house.
The rental rate I am getting presently is cheaper than most open ended rental deals due to the fact that it originated via an agreement between Enterprise and my insurance company, so I'm not getting fucked with unexpected taxes and fees... If I do return the car and then need another, I will be paying more than I am now per day for it. So, it would be an interesting exercise to calculate the cab costs from Reston -> BWI and back plus the increase in daily car rental rate when my car isn't fixed upon return.
