Is it no wonder he is reticent to let me photograph him?

So, I was at this party and some bald dude was chatting me up about digital cameras (I had brought mine because we required a portrait of L. for use in the murder-mystery party). While discussing shot quality, I turned on the camera and began idly flipping through the images I had saved. Almost immediately, several photos of D. emerging naked ( Read more... )

I am pretty certain this will guarantee that I never get him in front of a camera again. I suppose I could have filtered the post.

Oh well...

Let's get one thing clear here- that "photo shoot" was a surprise attack. So it's not like I posed for that or anything. And, you told me they were only head shots. ???

It's nice to know your friends have all seen me naked before they've even met me.

I cropped them so they were head shots.

And, no, not my friends, just some complete stranger.

You were much more accepting of this when you were drunk last night.

Well, you never explained to me that full-body nude shots were taken, so, I was under the impression these strangers only saw the head shots. Hence, my acceptance of this now recognizable duplicity.

"photoshoot" - do quotes really belong around a term that was never used?

"strangers" or "friends" - you continue to pluralize where it is not warranted. Some random bald fellow in the corner of a kitchen who has never met me before (let alone you) may or may not have glimpsed an extremely blurry, two-inch square shot of you emerging from the shower for all of half a second before I tilted the camera away from view. We will never know unless we ask him.

"duplicity" - I do not know if it counts as a deception when your degree of intoxication leads to your misunderstanding.

Whatever indeed. thesadpunk May 18 2003, 17:42:46 UTC
Yeah, badgering me with semantics will probably change my feelings on this matter.
