I spent the last evening with the precious metals: Bacardi Silver and Cap'n Morgan's Gold. Large amounts of my money were squandered on silly impulse buys (used CDs (Devo's Greatest Hits, two Pixies albums, and an early Kraftwerk), a 1:3 scale replica of an xanthochroid Navy sailor from Toys 'R' Us, and 3 pairs of medium-sized "boy's" underwear ( Read more... )

I keep hearing that. I keep telling myself that, in fact - internet relationships? Not a known thing for good.

But I'm currently sitting in the house of a happily married couple, she from Canada, he from Canberra. They met over the internet. It kind of throws the whole thing into whack for me, because I have right in front of me an example of it working out.

So, *shrug* seize what you can.
