another thing that you don't hear about that often or spoken about in church is this.........everybody always disses on Peter because he "lost faith", but everybody forgets at least Peter had the guts to get out of the boat.

most people forget about the other ELEVEN that didn't even GET OUT OF THE BOAT. The boat can symbolize many things, life, taking chances, "boxes" that we put ourselves in, etc. the American church mainly focuses on how Peter lacked faith, when they really should be praising this guy for being the leader and going FIRST. surely Peter did lose some faith by looking at "circumstances", and he temporarily forgot who his "source" was, but I think he rebounded nicely. it never says in the story much after the part where Jesus rescues him from completely falling in, ..........I could be wrong, but I believe they both walked on water back to that boat.

this is just my take on it, it's one of many things that is pretty cool about the Bible. the fact that you can take one scripture or story and get many different things out of it depending upon which angle you are looking at it from. God is definitely more than 1D, 2D, or 3D, much much more.

I agree. Peter wanted to waterwalk. Thanks for posting. The desire to waterwalk may be another entry to itself. Thanks for sharpening me.
