dragged by currents,
cold and fast and
im trapped under.
surrounded by walls.
no way out.
hold please.
remain calm until
there is
no air remaining.
take a breath and
let the liquid fill my lungs
perception shift.
looking around
and seeing what i seek
the walls comfort
the water warms
the current pulls me along
smoothly, gently,
breathing deeply.
