I made that word up in my subject, i'm so proud of it.
Last night SUCKED. It was like 9pm and I just got on the computer. Then all of a sudden I hear a HUGE BOOM! Then my WHOLE house goes dark, and yes, the entire block on my street. So I go outside all mad like GRRR I'm awake and there's no power, and seeing how almost all forms of entertainment these days requires elctricity, I DIDN'T WANT TO BE BORED FOR LIKE 5 HOURS. So I sit out on the side walk with like everyone in the world that also had nothing else better to do than to watch everything going on.
Blah blah, the police came, fire truck, ambulance. Maybe somebody was on some life support thingy in their house or something and the power went out, ouch that'd suck. The street signal lights were COMPLETELY out, weren't even blinking red. So people were ZOOMING right through it not even knowing here was a signal light there. I almost witnessed 3847 accidents. The police left in a super hurry cuz they weren't aloud to direct traffic unles there as an accident. And they left cuz they'd be heald liable for any accidents that occured while they were there. So yeah they left almost immediatley.
So then me and this guy I'd never met before are trying to direct traffic with flash lights, which proved to be a very difficult task. Then the cops, (before they left), told us to stop cuz we might confuse them and cause an accident and then we'd be heald liable and lose everythin we own... but they did say thnk you for your courageous effort, so that made me feel needed and loved. LOL.
Then I went back inside at like 10:30 pm cuz I got hungry and grabbed some scones and chips... they were yummy. Then when I was sitting on the side walk my friend Tim drove by and said "Hey Buddy" like he always does, lol.
Then some people drove by twice and waved at me... I guess they knew me so I waved back, I couldn't really make out their faces, whatever though, lol.
So I'm sitting there, looking up at the powerlines when the guys are trying to fix the thing that blew up, and BOOM BOOM, two more freaking things exploded all huge like, it was great, thought it was 4th of July a month early. Then like everyone that was outside started to clap, cuz then the other block across the street lost all their power LOL, so we weren't the only ones.
FINALLY at around 11:30 they fixed our side of the street, so I left and got back on the comp to finish what I was doing :-)
Went to bed at 1am, and got up at 9am ... and here I am at 12:40 writing!! Getting ready to go to all the Longs stores that I know of to fill out Job Applications and hopefully get a job at one of them.
That was my bug adventure this weekend... oh yeah I went to Benihanas, that was cool.
