I'm sure all of us in our little group are aware of Moore's lies. Heck, the first thing I did after seeing the movie was go online and read all I could about the movie from both sides.
I still respect Moore because I agree with many of his overall points. Many of his points do hold meaning and truth in them, it's just that it's always easier to distort the facts and straight out lie to make your case...lol. At the very least, his movies make you think about the issues, especially when you see certain things that cannot be lied about on-screen.
And face it, if he wanted to have such a huge impact, he had to create the anti-propaganda (more properly - the propaganda for the other side) and basically lie to anger and surprise people and make them react. The movie is the equivalent of a political ad in my opinion.
And if there is no other reason to like them, I think his movies are really entertaining and funny. I will also always respect the anti-GM sentiment present in every human being, not so much out of a disgust over their products, but just the way they conduct business. =)
