(no subject)
Its almost two weeks since Tina went, and I haven't slept properly since. Partly thats probably the disgustingly sweaty weather which only now is showing subsidence, and the rest is a feeling of hollow, like half my life-jigsaw doesn't fit together anymore. We're a team... A good team. We'll be back together soon... In Belgium-land, and then Germania: Hildesheim, home to M'era Luna, and so many brilliant bands I can't remember the half of them.
The only question is: What to wear? :s Tina says its always either baking hot or soaking wet. Somehow I'll need a balance between elegance, practicality and industrialism. I'm sure Tina will be all too willing to help me :D
So, busy weekend this last one. First I met Gunner51 at Paddington station - He'd never been to London before, and I was only too willing to show him what Camden and London in General had to offer. Speaker's corner in Hyde Park was disappointing. Just a few tramps sleeping on it. Much hilarity later on when we popped into the Dev, followed by around 30 minigoth types who got turned away by the put-upon barman. Just to liven things up, a Football-shirt-wearer came in after him :D
The tube was a nightmare. Stifling heat, crowds, thick air, and the everpresent closure of about half the tunnels for 'routine maintenance' (yeah yeah, we've seen 'Creep'). Still, Mike enjoyed it. Come back soon, chap!
On the way home I popped into LutonAid, getting there just in time to see TheAdenoids (nice skirts fellas *grr plagiarism grr*) but an enjoyable set, S.W.A.N.K However were bloody amazing. Good lads :D
