XXII - The best thing to happen this year
I'm hoping it's a conversation had in December where I become a full-time employee at the law firm, and thus a full-time employee for the first time since Korea, unless Korea also counts in contracts, and it's then since the Museum or the comic store previous to college?
(I maintain my position of being realistically wary, even as people are inviting/requiring me to early December meetings for things that will happen in March, three months after my 3 months on the temp-to-hire ends. Everyone continues to be amazingly welcome...but it's the one thing I want more and fear not getting most, so, um.)
Runners up for the year so far:
Milli-Rodeo where I introduced Gabby and Laura to a Texas rodeo, great food, house back riding, we had a sunshine picnic and face-timed Canada through it all. Getting high-fived by James Marsters, when he recognized our Steve McGarrett & Danny Williams costumes (at Dragon*Con) without needing to be told what they were, and then he kept us so he could tell is a set story between him and Alex.
Getting hired for a job during an interview taking place in a power outage. Taking part in the Adagio Zodiac monthly challenge/reward special. The recent weekend away to Blue Moon Meets is quite high up there, too, in thing I desperately needed no both emotional and spiritual levels.
