what's a holiday without some rampant materialism and humble squeeing

Picture 1 (P1): Big Stuff!

Picture 1 (P2): Little Stuff!

Food Stuff!

It's a little hard to break them down by picture, because some of you span across two pictures and others three. So, all three pictures above and I'll regale you through most of whom I remember in what order.

The very first gift under my tree was from Cat (kyllo), who sent me "I &hearts Vampires" (with the seriously lolarious heart in it), and a the copy of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan (both signed!). Following that was earthspirits was the warm, amazingly rich green scarf and the tiny, remarkably detailed little wooden dragon (P2).

Rachel (songtoisis) sent me the adorable hand-stitch cloth Cullen's ornament (which had me giggling instantly), the Watchman graphic and Return of the Great Goddess (which I'm over the moon in love with and keep flipping through). Georgia's (winding_path) package defied laws of physics and mail running, as logically it should not have arrived by Yule, but magically it did -- and it is the gorgeous little clay reading "Peace." (Which is on Yellow's Altar now)

Saundra & Roger (moons_storm) sent me tea and the Tupperware of treats that is missing like half its contents. Maybe that's the greater compliment in itself. The contents didn't even last until pictures. There were tons of little samples of cookies and tarts and fudge and things of amazing. And even if I don't do starch, her package at the end of the year is so so so worth it every time.

crazyfurries sent me the Krampus shirt, amazing, handmade, blue paper ornament, orange bag, and the art cards (all from P1), the white and blue earthen plate, tea shaped offering plate (with tiny unknown bundles!), sage bundle, fairy star stitched patch (all from P2), and the entire set of Elemental Decorated Cookies from the food set.

Winter (thewinteroak) sent me Fragile Things by Neil Gaimen and The Anxiety of Influence: A Theory on Poetry by Harold Bloom (I nearly bounced up and down just seeing his name). And Zane (No lj name?) sent me a box of dangly earrings (which I think are LJ-santa gifts).

Things without a picture yet as of yet --- Jacki (dragondreamfire) sent me a Read-It-Forward copy of The Hunt for the Seventh by Christine Morton-Shaw, and Li (trelali) had this fabulously, amazingly soft and so so so colorful tiny scarf waiting for me tonight when I got home, which has not come off me since opening it.

You guys are beyond awesome. I want to shower you in hugs. You totally made my Yule morning perfect and I adore each and every one of you.
